The EHS Department Organizes Emergency Drills for Hazardous Waste Leakage

　　On the afternoon of Jul 21, the EHS Department held an emergency drill for hazardous waste leakage.  The drill was coordinated by warehousing, logistics, production workshops, and administration department.  The aim is to train employees to how to use hazardous waste safety equipment and related tools properly, as well as the handling methods and procedures during the hazardous leakage situation.

　　During the drill a forklift accidentally spilled a bucket of hazardous chemicals on the ground, and personnel involved in the exercise promptly put on the protective clothing, and perform their respective duties.  The drills quickly brought several buckets of leak proof sand stored next to the hazardous chemicals and dealt with the leakage, successfully prevent the chemicals from spreading around.

　After the drill, person in charge recounted the importance of it to the participants.  Everyone should keep in mind of the emergency handling of hazardous waste and treat this drill as an valuable experience facing the emergencies which might happen in the future.
